Tara Harkins, LCSW

Tara works with adults, couples and families on issues of stress, anxiety, depression, self esteem, life transitions and loss. She uses cognitive behavioral, therapy, brief solution-focused problem solving interventions, self-care strategies, and mindfulness-based approaches aimed at promoting better thinking patterns, improving mood, and teaching healthy coping skills to improve well being and quality of life. Tara specializes in helping high performers and entrepreneurs manage stress and anxiety to create a more balanced life. Tara also specializes in maternal mental health including perinatal issues and support for transitioning into motherhood. Tara is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). She received her Masters of Social Work from Rutgers University.
